onoff Pricing Explained

Did you know what makes onoff different from any other telecom platform out there?

Certainly, we at onoff HQ are working hard to improve many aspects of it: the core idea, the design, the service, etc. But one thing that makes it truly unique is how customizable it is, both with its look and numbers you can choose from.

Whether you’ve been with onoff for a while now or just starting out, you will be surprised by how many options the App has to suit your needs. Here’s a short overview of what choices you have in the app depending on what you need a second number for:

Now that you know what is the best choice for you, let’s take a closer look at national and international numbers, credits and how much they cost.

National numbers

This is fairly simple: you just want a second number in the same country you’re living in and where your SIM card comes from. You can use it as a separate number for work so your clients won't call you in the middle of the night, give out to people who you don’t know all that well or just use it for when you sell something on the internet. This way, you don’t need a dual SIM or a second phone, and it’s a lot cheaper. Here’s how much having a second national number with the onoff App costs in different countries:

International numbers

If you are calling abroad often, it makes sense to have a second number for those calls. It is most certainly cheaper than having to pay international telecom operator rates and calls are better quality than internet calling applications. This is especially useful if you’re an expat calling to your family and friends at home or have a business based in a different country.

At the moment, there are 30+ countries to choose from for you international number. Based on the country of your origin, the price of any international number is as follows:

In-app credits

Whether you have a national number or an international one, if you are using it call to somewhere else than the country of its origin, you need to purchase in-app credits. No worries, it’s still way cheaper than any operator’s international rates. You can find the rates for all destinations in the app, but here are just a few examples to give you an idea:
  • From France to the USA - 3 credits per minute
  • From the USA to France - 3 credits per minute
  • From Canada to France - 9 credits per minute
To put into perspective, here is how much in-app credits cost in each country:

As you can see, the onoff Pricing is organized in the way that meets the needs of all users. Starting from just €2.99/month, you can choose a second number to make calls to anywhere in the world cheaper, of a better quality and simply more convenient.
